According to statistics released by China's customs, the country's exports of stainless steel flat products totaled 128,184 tons in April, decreasing by 14% from 148,988 tons in a month earlier.
In April, Taiwan was the largest importer of the Chinese stainless steel flat products with 34,337 tons, falling by 30.2% and South Korea was the second largest one with 19,119 tons, decreasing by 20.1%, both compared to that in the previous month.
In the first four months of this year, China's exports of stainless steel totaled 461,518 tons, declining by 15.4% from 545,397 tons in the same period of a year ago.
